Step back in time to WW2 Aberystwyth for an immersive walk. A story of love, longing and loss is revealed as we walk around the streets of the town.
How did undergraduate evacuees entertain themselves? What was Aberystwyth like during the 1940s? What was Rosemary's legacy to Fred's family?
A walking tour taking 2 hours.
The tour starts and finishes at the railway station waiting room.
The walk lasts just under two hours visiting seven locations.
I would recommend parking in the out of town car parks that are longer stay. These are on Saint Briec Way

Wear comfortable footwear and something warm, we will be walking along the promenade. Bring a handkerchief.

There is a slight incline on the high street and periods of time standing.
We will be walking along busy town roads and ask you to be vigilant at all times. Electric vehicles are more common in the town and cannot be heard easily. Please stick to the pavements.
We will offer you an alternative date if the walk has to be cancelled due to bad weather.
